Mini-Update (6/13/18): E3 Posts Incoming & Whatnot

Greetings peeps!

I’d like to begin this incredibly brief post by saying, “Wow, a month and 4 days without any new posts. That may be a new personal best for me.” Yes, I have been a bit busy this past month. In my defense, this is my final summer vacation ever before I head into the career territory next year, so I’ve kinda been living it up while I can. That unfortunately meant that blogging has taken a back seat to other obligations in life, as I prepare my soul for a long future parked behind a desk creating a super-AI that will take over the world. I have very specific career goals as you can see.

And yes, I know I’ve missed a lot of huge news since the last time we’ve spoken. Roseanne got cancelled over a tweet, 2 Pokemon games were announced, the Bohemian Rhapsody trailer dropped, Solo: A Star Wars Story bombed in theaters, apparently Batgirl is making an appearance in the Arrowverse soon, Cobra Kai premiered on YouTube Red. Am I missing anything else?… Oh yeah, and E3 is happening now. Now, I know every year for the past 4 years I’ve been known to cover the big 3 E3 shows: Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. It’s one of the blog’s longest-standing traditions by far, and that very tradition is exactly why this mini-update is being made. Unfortunately, I have to announce a slight change for this year’s festivities. You see, due to the hectic nature of the past couple of weeks, I won’t be able to do my traditional E3 posts for this year’s conferences… However…

Instead of making 3 posts on each individual press conference, what I will be doing is covering all 3 major E3 shows in one post. That’s right! The tradition will continue on, but just in a slightly different way. You can expect that post to be out between later tonight and mid-day tomorrow. Admittedly it’s later than I would’ve wanted such a post to be out, but better late than never.

Additionally, this weekend I will also be posting a “Best of E3 2018” post featuring an in-depth look at some of my favorite games shown at the convention. Be on the lookout for that and much more movie, gaming, and TV content still yet to come. I may not have been posting about all the major news of the past month, but I’ve still been paying attention. So, for topics like Solo failing and Cobra Kai succeeding, you can still bet I still have some words to share on those.

Basically, the content may be slowing down a bit these days, but as long I have a minute and a thought to spare don’t think you’ve heard the last of me just yet. Until then, I’ll see you guys when I see you.

I’m SBox180. Thanks for reading!
